with loyal supporters Georges and Monique and Line AND Philleke Dingemans
and it was a fairly cold afternoon (wind)
and, also Luke Dingemans would appear at the start |

A few minutes before the start - in Boomgaardstraat - Monique as an accomplished photographer and Line, Georges and Eddy just waiting for the big moment! |

after about 9.7km Luke flew by (our photographer could hardly keep him in the frame) - so that must be a VERY fast time! |

but Eddy also arrives about 10 minutes later |

and here you see LUKE quit - hurt in the calf! that's the result of running too fast! and you don't want to take your age into account |

and the Eddy storms on, the finish is now close! and he also sees his supporters Philleke and Monique! at the place pre-appointed by Luke! |
